Re: steering squeak when its cold
So we now appear to have squeaky suspension and creaky steering. Question is, do those of us with a QQ which haven't yet made a squeak or a creak get the parts replaced before the warranties run out or not? Especially now it's a known problem, along with all the other well known problems. I haven't ...

Re: 13 months 12500 miles in
Interesting comments regarding the reliability of the QQ and customer service. I have only ever owned one other new car which was a Skoda Fabia vrs, it wasn't without it's problems but the difference I have found with the Skoda and the QQ is that the Skoda's teething problems seemed to all happen wi...

Re: J11 - 1.5dci oil filter change
Hi, I've not attempted this on my QQ yet due to it still being under warranty, but I would suggest you remove the lower engine cover to gain access to the filter and sump plug from below, I presume you would have to remove this cover to drop the old oil anyway. Let us know how you get on, tools you ...

Re: Steering wheel -> creaking sound
I don't want to go off topic here ( incidentally my QQ steering has started the "squeak" literally one week after it was in for its service) but there are many common problems now being dealt with by the dealers which begs the question "why aren't these isssues now being automatically...

Re: Another Recall
I've just had my QQ in for its first major service (2nd service) and apart from the sliding roof guides being re aligned (which I had told them prior to the service it needed looking at) I haven't heard anything about recalls or updates etc.

Re: Chinese punishment for drivers driving on full beam!
You've got to love how the Chinese do things. Immediately sit the offender down on a stool in the street and give them some of their own medicine! Thankfully the QQ auto high beam works great! Pity we in the UK are to pc to do something similar to the drivers who persist on using their mobiles when ...

50psi in all four tyres when I picked mine up after the "pdi"
This is just basic stuff a pdi should pick up on, especially as it's safety related.
Not good enough Nissan, sort it out.

Re: Trackers
I have the AA connect device fitted to my QQ, it's not officially a tracker but it accurately shows the location of my QQ through the app. It also shows vehicle health, battery condition and all of the previous journeys in detail. There is also a "my driving" part of the app which monitors...

Re: Collecting new QQ - any tips?
I'm interested in gvmdaddy's purchase too - I hope you'll record your experience here. Off to collect my new QQ 1.2 Dig-T Xtronic (did I get that right) tomorrow; the countdown has started! It's 110 miles back home, so plenty of opportunity to test it out. How critical is it to vary the speed for t...

Re: Collecting new QQ - any tips?
Have a good look around it to make sure there aren't any scratches on it ( mine had a small but deep scratch on it that the salesman tried to hide from me by standing awkwardly in front of, till my wife shoved him out of the way and pointed it out) to late to complain about once you've driven it awa...
