Re: Continental Tyres
My QQ came fitted with the continental premium contact 2 tyres from new, I have now driven 15,200 miles on them, I am the only driver of the car. I would say I drive normally, by that I mean I don't dawdle but I don't tear about either, I do like to keep my speed up in the country bends but basicall...

Re: Hit a pothole and now tracking issue
The exact same thing happened to me in a skoda Fabia vrs I once owned ( wish I'd never sold it ) Burst both near side tyres and put flat spots on the rims, amazingly it didn't effect the tracking though, maybe the skoda was made of better stuff? Like gvmdaddy says any reputable dealer should be able...

I had a similar problem but since having the D302 update it's been fine.

Re: J11 & Cold Weather Problems.
"When it starts, the revs go to 1000 rpm as normal, then I leave it to warm up for a while as its extremely cold..." Hi wiseguy, just my opinion on your above warming up the engine procedure. I wouldn't recommend letting the engine idle to warm it up, the best way to warm the engine is to ...

Re: Malfunction indicator light (orange)
Had the QQ first service today all good. I spoke to the technician about the EGR problem he said it's not a known problem on the QQ and not to worry about it, he agreed that running it on the v-power was a good thing but couldn't really explain why the fault had occurred, unless I bring the car into...

Re: Continental Tyres
Fair enough, no harm intended just writing it how I see it. Sorry if I upset anyone.

Re: Continental Tyres
Ok I had a look at the nexens they don't appear to make an 18" tyre for my ntec+, not a good start, and from what I saw of them they looked like tractor tyres, they get there name from next century I think they are still stuck in the last century. Had a look at the reviews anyway and oh dear th...

Re: Continental Tyres
I just don't get why people buy 20k+ cars and then have some budget tyres fitted? Bearing in mind this is the only thing that keeps us in contact with the road. Putting the issue of wear to one side for the moment surely if the continentals have given good grip and handling why change? I know they s...

Re: Malfunction indicator light (orange)
Ok well spotted just making sure you are taking notice. I have since filled up with a full tank of shell nitro "diesel" then probably use regular shell. I have to say though, I have owned numerous cars and motorcycles over the years plus the company van, I've always used supermarket fuel i...

Re: Malfunction indicator light (orange)
I have just received the RAC report the fault code was dtc 0488 EGR position intermittent.
The report also states that the car needs to go to the dealers for further investigation.
