Re: Nervous handling

Can't say I feel the same, am also on 19's and on my 3rd QQ too and it's never felt more sure footed than it does on the 19s.

Re: FIRMWARE VERSION

I doubt you'll find anyone who knows floopy, we all have to just sit and wait until they publish an update. The latest maps have been released in the last few days\weeks though.

Re: Nissan connect not for Qashqai?

If the 2020 models are using NConnect then why are the 18 models unable to be upgraded to that software? Or am I being naive or missing something? As I understand it, the Connect units changed in late 2018 in terms of hardware and software, not just software, so a software update only isn't feasibl...

Re: Sat Nav Icon query

It means there are 'x' POIs there that are too close to be displayed individually. Click on the icon and it details them at the top of the screen. You can then click left or right to view each one in turn.

Re: Map Update Tool

The map update option in the car reports Update 5 as being available.

The full reset via the PC update tool describes it as version 2020.03 and is 16.74Gb in size for the 32 different updates available.

UK with Ireland is just over 2Gb and takes about 10 mins to install, which it does in 2 parts.

Re: iPhone XR and USB Connection

I just got an XR for work and have tried it out on one journey of 15 mins... no dropouts for me. I used the apple power lead.

Headunit is at version 0821.

Re: Issues with Android Auto

The connect software is easy to check and update over the air, no dealers needed, just keep the engine running whilst doing it.

I can't recall exactly where in the menus it is but start in Settings, info I think.

Make sure the connect software is up to date too. Version 0821 is the latest.

Re: Issues with Android Auto

I get the occasional glitch in sound but nothing more than that. The Samsung presumably came with a charging lead, have you tried using that as the USB connection cable.

Re: Map Update Tool

Good to hear it worked Chris and given the past tense re hospital it sounds like you're back home and better, or at least on the up. That's good to hear too.
