Re: Stop/Start System Fault
Stop/Start is about one of a number of faults affecting Engine/ABS/Emissions etc. Essentially the ECU cannot control the vehicle correctly. You need to get the error codes (DTCs) off the vehicle to get an accurate idea of whats wrong. The Warning light (MIL) is related in that it is signalling a fau...

Re: Programming Electronic key j11
It could well be a problem in that the keys have specific ID (numbers?). Only Nissan will know that and related to the vehicle Chassis No I'd expect. If the current key is damaged electronically that ID No will not be retrievable. Allied functional software could also be incomplete/damaged.

Re: Qashqai heater resistor problem
Its actually called the Power Transistor unit which has been discussed on this site often. Its not a heater resistor and is actually a transistor (MOSFET) controller unit. Can you provide a reference for this "Power Transistor". I can't find any discussions anywhere on this site. I just r...

Re: Battery died, would this be normal?
Batteries have a habit of dying slowly...most often. Its a wear out function basically and dependent on a number of things. In the case of Nissan QQ of 2017 it was a problem in production..poor selection of supplier (FIAMM). Add in the demands of Stop/Start, multiple short journeys and winters. Batt...

Its actually called the Power Transistor unit which has been discussed on this site often. Its not a heater resistor and is actually a transistor (MOSFET) controller unit. On a RHD car its positioned at about near foot level on the passenger side of the center A/C unit. I assume its the same side on...

Re: DRL not working on the J11 2017 diesel left headlight.
On the J11b the headlight system is two channel (left and right). The external light sensor can initiate the lights as with the main lights stalk. That in turn uses the Body Control Module and Power Distribution module (IPDM) to control switching. There are two power control devices (Smart FETs) tha...

Re: Panaoramic roof blind closes automatically but immediately re-opens.
Oils on the runners would likely cause some sort of mess. Two things are possible:
1. The runners are somewhat distorted or some foreign object is present
2. The motor itself has a problem so failing to reach closure before activating a full reverse

Re: Panaoramic roof blind closes automatically but immediately re-opens.
It appears to prematurely operate the Auto Pinch System. The "Sun Shade" is a simple system of a press switch and motor. I suspect the Auto Pinch system is built in the motor as no separate module for it exists. I suspect the motor senses a higher than normal load and switches to reverse (...

Re: Auto Hold suddenly not working
Thats an indication of a Brake system problem. As such the Auto Hold will be suspended/disabled. You need a brake system inspection.
