When you enter the diagnosis menu, it resets the communication link between radio and GPS unit (DVD drive). It takes approximately 10-15 minutes while I get TMC updated. during that time you cannot turn the engine off, otherwise you need to repeat whole procedure. Try it before longer journey.

Not a good idea to feed it from rear speakers only. Merge front with rear as I did. It fill audio spectrum with sub band naturally, no matter what your audio settings are on the Connect.

I would say the best and most simple is to buy BOSE subwoofer, which is originally installed in old Qashqai. There are plenty of them selling on ebay (I purchased it for 55,- EUR from Austria). I feed it with bridged 2x60W amplifier that has adjustable low pass filter.
