Re: Ambient light and footwell
Hi White_wolf. From your pictures and wording, you bypassed using the controller for the puddle lights, but did you put both separate puddle light cables into the two positap fittings or are there separate cables with the two cables linking to those ? I can see it's been few months since your post,...

Re: Boot light connector
I'm also interested in this as I like my symmetry. Has anyone found the connector part number ? Failing that, it'll be a trip to a breakers to get a light and cable together.

Re: Qashqai J11 Door mirror cap removal
Hi Phatboy. I did have to "jiggle" mine a bit to get them to seat like the originals. Like Daveberlin says, plastic can be a tricky one to reverse engineer for the aftermarket manufacturers. Hopefully a bit of filing on the new indicators may allow a better fit. Mine wasn't sitting right w...

Re: Seat belt rubber gaiter
I'm glad I've stumbled upon this thread. I was thinking that my car was an oddity with differing seat belts. I can see some logic, via the diagram for the floor fixing, but I can't think why the passenger's seatbelt is folded and stitched compared to the plastic stud/button stop. Anyone got a techni...

Re: Touch Up Paints
Hi Dave. I did debate on going for the illuminated official Nissan ones or alternates from AliExpress, but instead I've kept it simple and gone for ones from Lockwood in UK which wrap over the edge like your rear ones do. https://lockwoodinternational.co.uk/product/qashqai-mk2-sill-plates-part-no-k1...

Re: Touch Up Paints
Thanks Dave, you could be right. Maybe I rushed the process a bit, wanting to get a result over a busy weekend. I also think the special tool is a bit too small for blending anything bigger than a couple of millimetres. Not quite rough enough either as using some 1500 grade wet and dry with light fi...

Re: Touch Up Paints
Hi. I know this an old post that I'm resurrecting, but has anyone found a best match for the QAB Pearlescent Storm White ? I've got a couple of scuff marks on my sills, as my new car is an ex-demo, which will be covered up with sill protectors in the near future. I just wanted to practise for the in...

Re: Tint wrap interior lights
Hi Lapalmeraie. I've just got the Ntec in storm white a couple of weeks ago. I like the thought of coordinating the lenses internally with the smoked glass ones on the exterior. Nice video.
Thanks for posting, Alan

Re: Dog Guard Fixings
Hi AST1. On an alternate site I found this topic http://forum.qashqaiclub.co.uk/newbie-needs-dog-guard-instructions_topic6719.html Maybe it will help. I got the Travall dog gaurd and centre separator off eBay for a bargain price, and these just clip behind the seats. Very easy to install. Hopefully ...
