Re: Tekna 19 wheels
ImoT, you have most probably made the correct decision to prevent damaging your 19" Wheels. A lot of Members have installed these Alloygators with positive effect and have most probably saved themselves some money repairing. The only setback is the "corrosion reaction" underneath the...

Re: Tekna 19 wheels
Sorry I understood that they could physically be fitted to Tekna wheels, but it wasn't advised due to the issues discussed on the alloygators website. The issue I was having is I didn't understand what that actually meant for the wheels. I have asked the guy who I've booked to come and fit them and ...

Re: Newbie
If you look at my thread a few below yours, can't remember the exact title, it's got the word 'advice' in it though, lots of members have kindly commented about what to look for when I pick up my car Might be useful!

Re: Tekna 19 wheels
I'm confused about not being able to fit them to the Tekna wheels? I've just booked for someone to come out and fit mine on the day I get my car because I just don't want to ruin the wheels! What happen if they are fitted to Tekna wheels?!

Re: GAP insurance advice
One more question...would people recommend back to invoice or new for old? I was thinking of back to invoice but then car prices go up so maybe new for old would be better?! I assume they will still be making 1.2 xtronic petrol tekna's in the next 3 years so there is unlikely to be a quibble about n...

Re: GAP insurance advice
Thank you everyone for your advice. I've decided to go with admiral for my car insurance as they have given me the most reasonable insurance quote and include the panoramic roof in the glass excess. They don't have a new for old policy so I will look into ALA for gap insurance as they seem the most ...

Re: GAP insurance advice
Thank you for your reply. Okay so maybe I won't go with Nissan! I am just concerned that I'll go with someone and they just won't pay out for whatever reason. Can anyone recommend specific company based on personal experience? Also I was thinking of going for 'back to invoice' gap because 'new for o...

GAP insurance advice
So I'm picking up my new Qashqai in a couple of weeks and I'm quite confused about GAP insurance. Nissan want to charge me £370 for 4 years but ALA have quoted me £187 for 3 years. I like that nissan's is longer and they are willing to postpone the start date if my insurance company offer new for ol...

Re: PCP - Question Re Settling Early
I have done the same thing. Wanted to pay cash but pcp deal gets a much bigger saving. Signed papers today and was told I have to make at least 3 payments prior to paying off. Plan to do this then possibly pay off at the end of the year. Glad it's not just me! Do you happen to know what the mileage...
