Cable behind Arm rest 2008

Hi All,
Pretty new to a QashQai and was having a look around my car and found a cable behind the plastic for the Arm Rest in the back. Any one know what its for? Is it for power or something I know other mods have power units in the back / inside the arm rest. ( Mine doesn't ). If it is some sort of power what unit can I attach to this to make it work?
