Just spent the last hour trying to sort out an online purchase of windscreen wiper blades with this lot. carparts4less.co.uk

Basically I used their 'enter your reg number' to ensure I got the right ones. Out of the 3 they sent (very quickly I must say) the drivers blade was the wrong one. (They sent a Bosch AP26U, when it should have been an AR26U). Tried ringing them, and eventually gave up. Went online chat with one of their customer services lads who apologised, told me to bin the wrong one, and he would send me out a replacement straight away. All good so far. The following day the replacement blade arrived. Wow. Ultra fast delivery. But. Inside the box was an AR17!

Back on online chat this morning after trying to ring. Again. Because I? had ordered the wrong blade, I would need to order another AR26U, and they would arrange to collect the AP26U (BINNED ALREADY) and the AR17U (the wrong replacement). Try as I might, I could net get it through to them that THEY had sent the wrong blade. TWICE. I suggested they arrange collection of the AR17U at the same time they sent me a replacement. Cant do that. I need to re-order the right one.

Basically I gave up. I was told to keep the AR17U and they would refund for the 26" blade thats now in the bin. I will await a refund.....

Would I recommend them based on this transaction? Never.

rms3205, I have for years always used Amazon (the devil you know) and never had a Wiper Blade Problem. As a Tip you can sometimes pick up a Set with extra Rubber Blades thrown in. I have used for years on the QQ J11 the following :
Bosch AeroTwin AR 652S Front : 650mm (26”) / 450mm (18”) and for the Rear an H31 (300mm). One Front Blade is longer as it gives a better wipe - hope this helps Dave

carparts4less and eurocarparts used to be good few years ago, but now awful. i always get my car gear from parts in motion. got my wiper blades last week fast delivery too..

Like them or not, I always go into a Halfords.

Eurocarparts supply halfords with car parts too

Maybe the advantage is that, in the shop, I can look at the wiper blades and be sure I have picked up the correct model

I have used carparts4less in the past - for a very cheap pollen filter for my Fabia (£5.16 delivered would you believe!). Despite being the same company as eurocarparts their prices are usually less.

However I have a Eurocarparts shop 5 miles away so it's usually more convenient for me to use them.

HOWEVER there is definitely an issue with their parts checker. If I put in the registration number of my Fabia it would consistently show the WRONG battery. I liaised with them about this but they wouldn't accept it's wrong.

Hence I'm not surprised you got the wrong wipers.

I would admit to more usually using Halfords - and I get 10% discount there too!
