Gel, I think you are correct in that these came from Japan. I can remember when these Sporty Type Wing Mirrors were all the rage. I found a Japanese Car Sales that showed loads of Dualisβs with these Wing Mirrors - Dave
Safety laws in Japan started requiring outside rear-view mirrors and since the Japanese customarily put them on the fenders, that is where the law said they should be. A reason to put them on the front fenders is that they can be placed so they do not extend past the fender, allowing the vehicle to be narrower.

Thanku every one for ur replies.
After looking closely u guyz right the bonnet is little different where it's to edges meets the grill .
To answer why I m doing this to an old car because I sold my dualis /qashqai 2014+2 TIL not long ago and got this one for almost for free . I find it's front end hideous that's why I doing the conversion.
I have little bit of automotive knowledge u can find me on tacoma us forums and skyline aus forums under the same name .
Last yr during covid lockdown I got bored I teared down my prado v6 cylinder head and installed headgasket my self with the help of youtube videos ,so I think I can do this too not a big job as compared to headgasket.
For this dualis its 100% only cosmetic change rest underneath frame are same .
A wrecker here in Melbourne quote me 980A$ for parts from 2013 dualis/qashqai TIL
Both front headlights
Both front fenders
Complete front bumper with grill
All four chrome door handles .
Since the bonnet is different it will cost me another 200A$.
Below is the picture of my 2014TIL I sold

You can't see the front when you're driving!

I'm wondering how the front end conversion went cause I was hoping to do the same. Also would I have any problems changing the cvt xtronic gearbox to standard 6 speed manual?

It should be a straight swap. Wings, bonnet, bumper and headlights. If you are also planning the rear, boot/tailgate, rear lamp clusters.Nkalifornia wrote: βWed Jan 26, 2022 12:05 pm I'm wondering how the front end conversion went cause I was hoping to do the same. As for a manual conversion from CVT. You are probably better off exchanging the car. You would need to change ECU, instrument cluster, gearbox, flywheel, clutch, slave cylinder, master cylinder.
I nearly bought a CVT, but heard a lot of problems about them, so stayed well clear.

I don't recall anyone one here even trying never mind succeeding. Do you have a failed auto box?
