Hi was wondering if any of you guys could help having problems with the heater taking a while to heat up about 25mins exactly ,the qashqai i have has a 1.5 dci pure drive engine , they tell me at the dealer its because its a euro4 engine , also found this on the internet about a summer , winter switch please can anyone help http://doc.webasto-russia.ru/Car/nissan ... .pdfcheers allan

Hi, mines the same, heater really slow to warm, also a 1.5 DCi ?

its the only fault a can find with it great car , yes have been told this sneaky elephant must be true

Turn off the AC.....what nissan are doing is cooling the air to remove the moisture then heating it ...all so you dont steam up ....faster if you turn off the air con.
The other thing that makes it slow to warm up is the fact that the rad fan is running all the time on slow speed ...It is controlled by two relays one for fast and one for slow ..if you pull the slow relay then it warms up faster. pistnbroke2013-11-23 10:07:26
