Surely if they admit the fault the manager could put this through for free, don't offer to pay , keep firm! Good luck. Has put me off Nissan I have to say very flimsy design I'm weary opening my boot ,won't let kids near it as it could easily happen again.

My faith has been resorted.

So Nissan are covering the cost of new part and its respray to match my car. Glyn Hopkins are covering the cost of fitting it. Part come with a 12 month guarantee.

Glad I persevered and was a nag!!

Hi, My boot handle is loose. Do you know if it can be just screwed back if it's not broken. what Nissan dealer replaced yours for free?

I'd take it back to your local dealer and get them to look at it. I was very lucky to get my broken one replaced for free, posted my troubles on Nissan UK Twitter and their social media department got in contact with me.

It's really easy to replace this handle. I bought a new one on ebay for £100 and spent 30 minutes fitting it. If anyone wants instructions on how to fit it PM me

Hi – this rear door grip has just happened to me. Currently i've got it taped on! Have ordered a new 'handle' and bolts from ebay and hoping to fit it myself. I'd appreciate any tips, or instructions if anyone could help? Thank you!

you should add your model/ year /type (in your case you have a J10 QQ) in your forum signature area.
Then, if you have other queries members can provide relevant info, for right model.
