Strange post I know but can anyone describe the best way on safely removing/uninstalling the acesdvd auto fold wing mirror kit from the Qashqai? Particularly around the cable terminations?

Thanks but it was more how the scotch locks could be removed if the wires have been pierced?

After opening Scotchlock you can ease the blade up using a pliers; make good with some insulation tape afterwards.
