Hi all,
New to Qashqai and Nissan.
I'm looking to purchase a Mk1 (facelift) 1.5 manual diesel, but the bulk that are available in my price range have mileage of over 100k.
I know generally a diesel is barely run in at this mileage - does this adage run true for the Qashqai?
I'm certainly not going to stick another 100k on it myself.

This is a well proven Renault engine; some reports that that model (J10) has had some dpf issues.
That may be a problem if you only do short trips.
J11 onwards there were some mods to resolve this, with self generation of the dpf.
