Removing third brake light.

My wife rolled the car back into our caravan towbar and smashed the red plastic cover - the lights themselves still work fine. How difficult is it to remove the assembly and replace it with a new part?

The third brake light is at the centre top of the door - so I'm confused now - how could you smash that with a towbar?

I think you mean the central reflector?

EDIT - might be a foglight?
