I know the car is pretty old, but I have a couple of problems, the first one is the adjustable wing mirrors are not working, II have checked the fuse which seems fine,just nothing happening when i try and adjust them.. The 2nd one is I am not sure whether the cruise control is working.... I havent got a owners manual for this car, and never had a car with cruise control before.... But when I turn it on and flick the switch up or down when i take my foot of the accelerator it just slows down..... when I press the cruise control on the "cruise light" on dash comes u, but dosent the other little symbol (a bit like a clockface) supposed to light up as well??? It dosent light up!!! Or is that a limiter symbol???

Any help would be appreciated.

1. Mirrors. I don't know. You might try extracting the switch to see if the contacts are corroded. Otherwise it might be that the electronics have failed somewhere - beyond my expertise.

2. Cruise Control. Not having an owners manual is a pain. I don't have a 2007 handbook. However I've attached a 2011 one which might be similar enough - page 5-29 onwards. I'll go and see if I can find an earlier one.

IT sounds like you're doing it right:

Turning the cruise control system on

The cruise control system can be switched on after
engine start or when driving.

Push the cruise control main switch. The
CRUISE indicator and the cruise control symbol
will illuminate in the combination meter display.
Setting a cruising speed
1. Accelerate to the desired cruising speed.
2. Push the SET switch downwards and release
it.
3. The SET indicator and the set speed value
will be displayed in the combination meter
display.
4. Take your foot off the accelerator pedal.
The vehicle will maintain the set speed.
If the vehicle speed is less than the minimum set
speed (see table), it will not be possible to set
the cruise control system.

The cruise light comes on, but then I dont get the option to set the speed, the speed set symbol dosent light up!!!!!
Could it be a fuse?? If so do you have any idea which fuse it would be??

Just a update on cruise control. It is now working, I changed the fuel filter and now it is working correctly.... Now i dont know whether this is just a coincidence or not but maybe worthwhile trying if yours isnt working
