J10 2013 360 Touchscreen faded

Hi all,

Today I bought a 2013 J10 QQ, the only issue with it is a faded touchscreen display and the air con is not too effective, other than that its perfect and drive really well.

Can anyone advise on the touchscreen, is there a fix or is it a new part needed. I have checked all the settings, brightness etc and nothing really fixes it.

Air con. I see a fair bit about the unreliable air con and the condensers but mostly relating to the J11 model, does this also apply to the J10?

Touchscreen fading is reasonably common and happened on mine. I tried taking it apart and cleaning contacts but it made no difference.

There are replacements (see link below) but to be honest I thought it better to replace the unit with an Android Head Unit
