Hi, only had my 2019 QQ 1.3 Dig-T N-Connacta just over a week, we have noticed over the past couple of days that each time we have parked the car on the path after use, if we look under the car after about 10 mins theres a small amount of liquid on the floor, it doesn't appear to be staining so don't think its oil.

Also if i look around an hour or 2 later it does seem to be dried up, i have attached a pic below, theres not a huge amount on the pic but that was about 10 mins after we parked today.

The wet patch is on the right side of the car if you was looking at it from the front, the patch also appears to be under the footwell sort of area.

Not sure if it would be anything to worry about until we can get Nissan to look at it?

Any ideas?

James, ours has been having a “Pee” for 5 years and is still running well, you see it, worry about it and then forget it - Dave 🧐

As above answers, it does the same on my current Qashqai and the one I had before. I always have the air conditioning/climate control switched on. It is never turned off.

I also had exactly the same “puddle” when I had other makes of car: Volkswagen, Audi, SEAT and Honda, all with air conditioning.

Drive without using any AC and you'll see no puddles... unless its been raining.

Thank you for everyones replies, that would make sense i guess and maybe theres no need to panic.

I will try running car without AC and see how that goes, good suggestion, it has been on most days we have been in it.

Its condensation due to the action of the cabin aircon evaporator...drying you and passengers out.

Useful in winter for windscreen defogging
