Nissan QashQai Forums

This month's "Which" has just been delivered, and it doesn't make pleasant reading for Nissan. "Seven cars we want manufacturers to recall" sees Nissan pulled up for faults in the Pulsar, Juke and Qashqai.
Must admit there is something in it even if faults are minor.
I had batteries replaced under warranty on my 2013 1.6 petrol Qashqai and on my 2018 1.2 petrol SUV Qashqai. When I read on here about problems with that auto box and also with the 1.2 engine, I wonder about looking elsewhere when warranty expires next May.

Might be visiting Toyota dealers!

I've had two new QQs since 2013 and have not had any battery failures!

Calmac, any chance of posting the report you have read, it is naturally interesting for Owners with and without problems just to keep an update on what has occurred. As usual there are many satisfied Owners also - Thanks in Advance Dave

PJB729, many thanks for the attachment information. I have tried to just shorten and highlight the Nissan Problems as a quick overview. In the main for us QQ Owners it looks like a Good Old Battery Problem as many of us already know it will be interesting if Owners are contacted regarding this problem. When I first read the Post I thought there were many critical problems, but gladly not - hope this helps Dave

When I read through article my impression is that it’s just a rehash of old QQ problems.

Talking of recalls and to save starting a new thread, there’s a new one for the Qashqai. It was mentioned on a few of the Facebook groups the other day. When I checked, there was nothing on the NISSAN website for my Qashqai, nor the GOV.UK website for vehicle recalls. Anyway, when I had my car in for service and MOT today, they said they would be attending to a recall - it relates to the rear child locks. New grommets are required for either side and it’s a five minute job to replace. Seems to be Qashqai’s going back as early as 2016 and newer
