J11 Drivers seat 'Metallic Ticking noise'

Morning all.
Has anyone had any issues with their drivers seat where someware deep in the mechanism, there is a quite noisey 'tick' noise when force is put on the seat - When you sit down, when you accelerate or brake heavily, change direction, or just generally lean out of your seat, it is always accompanied by a metallic tick noise.
It does not appear to be anything to do with plastic trim or seatbelt linkage etc.
Has anyone expearianced and fixed this issue before?
