only had my QQ since March, last night first drive in the dark, always have headlights on automatic, tried to put main beam on only to find it wasn't working, tried flashing, all ok, got home and played around with the lights and found main beam works when switch set to headlight but not when set to automatic and here was I planning a trip to the dealers

Conrail, it is always worth a read of the Main Points in the Manual so you do not become stuck - Dave 😉👍

Like he says above.

It works brilliantly and one of the things I had to give up on my present car. Hardly ever got a "foot wrong"

Because of the system, I never run at night with auto lights, it is the first car I have had where you cannot override the main beam with just a push of the stalk. I have had cars with auto lights before, but the main beam was a manual operation. Personally, I hate this system.

You can override the main beam by returning the lever to the central position.
