I also tried deleting the manual for the new Qashqai and re-downloading it but nothing changed - still a lot of information about steering wheel adjustment :roll:

I put my mileage down as 5,000 for the insurance quote - in fact, I have only driven 11,500 miles in my QQ since new (4 years old in September). All the lockdowns and working from home has meant my car being rooted to the spot. ;)

It comes down to £183.71 if I feed in a £250 voluntary excess (= £400 total) but of course these things are very dependant on postcode (GL2 ) and mileage (6,000)

That’s interesting, @QaiFan. I probably won’t get time to test Apple CarPlay with the digital dashboard/HUD as I’m bothered in case it retains information from my iPhone and I forget to reset/delete/remove it from the QQ’s memory when I have had the test drive.

If I remember, I will ask if the Apple CarPlay/Android Auto’s navigation can replace TomTom in the HUD and digital dashboard when I have the test drive tomorrow. ;)

I would truly appreciate it !
Maybe ask about Google Maps (Apple Maps) ... if there is any change the navigation/directions would be shown in the digital dash and / or HUD those would be it !?

Does anyone know the wait time for delivery at the moment? Perhaps we need a separate thread on this. I seem to remember charts etc when I was waiting for my J11.

Just ordered a Tekna model. Delivery approximately 27th August/8 weeks.

A full production run doesn’t start until mid-July for most models.

I had assurance that Apple and also Android devices should show their navigation details in the HUD but I wasn’t able to verify that claim. Best to double check with your dealer nearer the time? :?

I had the test drive today in the Premiere Edition (ceramic grey). It was very comfortable, quiet and roomy. There was also less body roll going around roundabouts, for example.
