I can't wait. I hope they don't give it much more ground clearance than J10 has. Wife has some small trouble getting in our current QQ from her wheelchair. Maybe the passenger seat can be lowered, since apparently that can be done with newer models but not in our J10.

Most likely getting that hybrid version, hoping it wouldn't be much more expensive than the petrol one.

ilkka, just reading your comments on your wife’s access problems. A few years back whilst in the US some elderly friends mentioned these types of access problems getting in their SUV’s. I looked around and found these accessories which they looked at, these are pretty cheap if they help compared to a replacement Electrical Seat.
There are the normal Bolt On Side Running Board Steps (not always liked) & also Electrically Operated Side Steps that are installed under the SUV, but expensive.
I hope this is of some interest if not seen before - Dave 🙏

Thanks Dave for the info. We'll into those.

Looks like there are new photos/renderings available on carbuyer:

First two look like photoshopped photos from Nissan's own camouflage photos.

Article on the Daily Mail website has also appeared today...
Premium kit includes a head-up display that projects directly onto the windscreen (not just a pop-up glass plate), massage seats, high definition displays, and wireless smartphone charging.
...with prices little changed from now and starting from around £20,000.
Massage front seats front have a three program modes in top of the range versions. And there's a new steering wheel heater option.
There are also new additions to the Qashqasi to help to mitigate crime. It comes with a stolen vehicle tracking system option, providing around the clock contact with police. Owners are alerted automatically via their smartphone app if their car has been stolen, allowing the vehicle to be tracked and recovered.
There's a powered hands-free tailgate.

Sandgrounder, many Thanks for the “Heads Up” on the New QQ when you look at the Spec it seems to me to be very interesting. There is a lot more “Gear” added now and even the long awaited auto closing hatch. The DM article was worth a read but for some reason out here the DM App on my ipad does not work always, but I read it on the iphone - Dave 😁

Thanks for the link to the Nissan press release, Dave.

It says in the press release “Further reflecting the model’s Japanese DNA, the information sounds of the new Qashqai, for example the seatbelt reminder and turn signals, were developed in collaboration with Japanese video game developer and publisher Bandai Namco. The sounds have been developed to be more harmonious, with a melodic dual tone signature.

One can only imagine what the horn will sound like!

Sounds a wonderful car - however there's very little mention of safety features and nothing about ProPilot, though I suppose they're concentrating mainly on the interior.
