@ilkka.
Really looking forward to your assessment of the new J12.
I do hope you will like the new QQ as much as I do !?
BTW the 4WD version requires the CVT as well (not 6MT manual) AFAIK.

Please ask your dealer :
- if and when the J12 Tekna+ versions can be expected to be delivered (to us customers)
- maybe also how much the 2022 E-Power version is supposed to cost (will E-Power versions be much more expensive or not ?)

Till soon then and succes.

Yeah, it does require CVT and all of my cars have been with manual transmission before, but I want to move to automatic. I have driven few other automatics recently and city driving is so much smoother with them. Apparently this CVT is new, so hopefully there are no problems with it.

@ilkka.
I have driven a car with CVT before (*very* long time ago ... Volvo 343 DL).
It did feel different of course (compared to MT)
However, as we *all* must to go the EV route one day ...
and then have to get used to AT anyway ... might as well start now with CVT !?
I chose MT because of the price difference and I do not think I need/want Pro-pilot.

Ilkka, you have mentioned your concern on the CVT. I recently got hold of some facts which I posted and questioned out here Nissan personnel and it does appear also in the US the CVT is a New One. I drove for years Rogue Rentals in the US and never really had a problem, but then only for a short period of time. We have the DCT now and as mentioned before this is excellent - Dave 😊

You have been mentioning your wish of the QQ Tekna +, well I am not sure if you have calculated a price, but today I had some time and with the Nissan facts I have I calculated a Cost which is as follows (our wish). This might be of interest to discuss on your visit tomorrow.

Tekna + : 1,3L DIG-T / Xtronic AT / AWD / 158PS = €44,620
Color : XDF Pearl White + Black (Two Tone) = €650
Carpets / Styling Stuff = €600
No Luggage or Roof Stuff included !
Total = €45870* so that is UK £39790 - (If you take a 2WD it is €2000 - £1735 cheaper)
Some Nissan Spec Information does not include the 20” Diamond Cut Wheels On the Tekna + !

Indeed Dave, if you include *everything* this QQ is, IMHO, indeed not that cheap.
But that goes for most mid-size SUVs.
I tried to configure several IMHO comparable cars (+ all Tekna+ options) from VW, Skoda, BMW, Mercedes and Hyundai.
Sometimes it was quite easy to go way above 50.000 euro !
If I take all this into account then the price of my new J12 Tekna+ QQ is more than acceptable to me (as I also got about 15 percent off MSRP from the dealer).

BTW the Tekna+ level *with* also included the 20" wheels and two-tone roof is what makes this car so special (the looks I mean) for me.
(I do realize those 20" diamond cut wheels are a bit of risk though, increase consumptions etc etc)
Take those options away and ... I would never have bought the new QQ (love-) on first sight !
;)

Dave, sure it will cost a lot. But since I plan to keep the car for years to come, I want it to have some luxury :) Surprisingly Nissan Finland hasn't released brochure with prices yet. Will ask tomorrow about that as well.

I posted some facts yesterday on the QQ Tekna + costs, but today I have just received New QQ Data from Nissan with a Complete Spec Comparison of Models and a NEW New Price LIst. I have been over it with an "Eagle Eye" and there are increases to what I had previously posted. These little Plus Costs soon mount up (it's almost like buying a BMW / Audi / MB...).
For your Info' these are as follows so make sure you check out all Specs and Prices before ordering - Dave ;)

The NEW Cost :
Tekna + The Same Basic Cost = €44,620
Color : XDF Pearl White + Black (Two Tone) = €1250
Carpets / Styling Stuff The Same = €600
20” x 8,0J Diamond Cut Wheels Optional On the Tekna + = €500
Total = €46,970 (UK Pound 40,753)

The OLD Cost :
Tekna + : 1,3L DIG-T / Xtronic AT / AWD / 158PS = €44,620
Color : XDF Pearl White + Black (Two Tone) = €650
Carpets / Styling Stuff = €600
No Luggage or Roof Stuff included !
Total = €45870* so that is UK £39790 - (If you take a 2WD it is €2000 - £1735 cheaper)
Some Nissan Spec Information does not include the 20” Diamond Cut Wheels On the Tekna + !

Thanks DaveBerlin.

Very disturbing ... Two Tone paint : 600 euro more than before !?

I included link to Belgian Prices that are still the same on May 7 (according to the Belgian Nissan Website).

This would mean that Belgian J12 QQ prices are -today- even a little bit cheaper that Geman prices if you want to outspec the car ... that's a first !

https://www-europe.nissan-cdn.net/conte ... sliste.pdf
https://www-europe.nissan-cdn.net/conte ... 20BENL.pdf

I agree with you also on the assumption that (in Belgium and Germany) prices of other 'luxury' mid-sized SUVs now seem almost the same as the ones for the new QQ !?

A reason for that *may* be the fact that steel prices as well as (car electronics-) chip prices have gone up considerably and demand for (car) purchases is increasing !???
Another possibility is that the German situation is unique and prices in other regions will not increase any time soon.
Anyway, it might be a good idea for people considering getting the J12 to decide right now, before QQ J12 prices increase (and/or increase even further) !

I'm glad I already pre-ordered my J12 Tekna+ ... so prices for me can no longer change (AFAIK).

I am really curious what ilkka has been told and seen by and at his Nissan dealer today !!!

The car my dealer had for display was CVT premiere edition in magnetic blue. I have some brochure papers in my car about the premiere edition, will go through them in few hours for more details.

Dealer said that CVT isn't available for order just yet, and cars will start going to customers in September/October. And there isn't pricing available for Finland yet, but he will email me as soon as he finds out.

Good news is that wife was able to go in the car and boot is big enough for her wheelchair.

I really liked the car. Wife has been a bit quiet when I asked but I think she approves it as well.

@ilkka.
Thanks for your feedback !
"cars will start going to customers in September/October"
I was told (at the time of pre-order my-) car delivery would be in August (for Belgium !?)
I am glad you like the car ! (and I hope your wife does too).

[a delay for me would not be a problem ... as I still have a good -though older- car anyway]
