Big fan of the gun metal color, but am tempted by the two tone you like Dave, 20” glossy black ibiscus wheels and the front v shape painted in black would do this car full justice .

I'd have to admit when I saw the videos with the 20" wheels this is what immediately came to mind!:

How come they don’t use the new logo they have been promoting for over a year now, is that exclusive for the Arya and Z ?

Verudela, does this help you ? I believe you will find that this was the Plan for the introduction of the New Logo. The 2021 Nissan Ariya EV will be the first vehicle to get the new badge, which is adapted to look good in LED lights but is otherwise not drastically changed - Dave

Why do cars have to get bigger all the time?

Length: 4,425mm (+35mm bigger than 2nd-gen Qashqai)

Width: 1,838mm (+32mm)

Height: 1,635mm (+10mm)

Wheelbase: 2,666mm (+20mm)

... but if you compare to the 2007 Qashqai:

Length: 4,425mm (+104mm bigger than 1st-gen Qashqai)

Width: 1,838mm (+57mm)

Height: 1,635mm (+14mm)

Wheelbase: 2,666mm (+37mm)

Very good point, gloucester. Many houses have garages but many are not big enough to accommodate today's cars, which is why so many stand on the road or on drives, and therefore are more easily stolen.. I posted before that I won't be able to get out of the new Qashqai, even if I manage to squeeze it into my garage. So I fear I won't be buying the new version when it next comes time for me to change, which saddens me as I really like my Nissans. The gain in space inside the car must be minimal, so why make 'em bigger? Weird..

It's supposedly owing to crash protection - but that's not the whole story methinks.

According to the Nissan Dim’ns (See attached) for the QQ J11B the widest dim’n to squeeze into the Garage was 2070mm with open Mirrors or do you fold them before entering. So I would assume for the New QQ the Dim’n is now even bigger although they are Door mounted now. From what I remember the Space is bigger behind the Garage door which does allow more space although tight.
I can see what mean about driving into the Garage as I have not done this for 30 years in the UK being out here. It still appears that the smallest Door Size is 6’ 6” (1981cms) which is extremely tight. This is the same situation in Multi Story or Parking Areas the Spaces never appear to get any larger not like in the US

I think the problem for some is actually getting in and out of the car

My garage door is 2130mm wide
