Hi all have been doing a lot of searching but no luck.
I have a brand new n-connecta 70 plate and the drl on mine are very small like a small tick and today i saw another Qashqai 70 plate and the drl stretched right across the top pf the headlights , i have seen the different types before and thought it was to do with year but having seen the one today same reg 70 i am thinking that perhaps its model dependent, unless you lads know different.
Any ideas.

Mine have led lights but don't stretch the length of the headlights though which i think look nicer.
So it is model dependent then, oh well not to worry just thought it was strange being the same year.

Yes, it’s model dependent: just the Tekna/Tekna+ and the N-TEC.
When I purchased my N-Connecta in late 2017, you could add the LED light pack, which are the same lights as on the Tekna - list price about £495. I think that’s been dropped from the optional extras list now.

No problem runrabbitrun. You’ll have more “toys” on your N-Connecta than I have on my QQ as the specification changed again 18 months or so after I bought mine. Enjoy your new QQ!

Runrabbitrun, as mentioned above these lighting systems are “Specification” related and unfortunately the option is or was expensive. Do not Sulk 
just enjoy the QQ that you have - Dave

If you like the look you could always add it with some DRL/Indicator led strips to run along the top edge of the headlight under the bonnet. Many options available from AliExpress.
