Drive belt damage/Service on 10yr old 1.6 DCI with low mileage

Yeah I think only one of the smaller Qashqai petrol engines has a belt.. My first RAV4 snapped it's cambelt going 70mph down Leeds ring road in rush hour so I pretty much only ever buy cars with a chain after that! Service history claimed second owner had it changed just before I bought it too..

In the QQ service book though it specifically lists the drive belt as 72 months, and the chain as something ridiculous like 180,000 miles. I've seen 15yr old cars with 150k on them and the chain's been fine though, so not hugely worried about that just yet.

Either way got a brand new aux belt fitted for free now :D Bloody thing wouldn't start after -5C temps overnight the other day either, so the dealer fitted a new battery and glow plugs as well. Hopefully bar an oil change and coolant top-up it'll be smooth sailing from now on!
