Is there much difference between V9 and the V10 update Connect 1?

will be a year difference normally so if v9 was 2019/2020 then v10 would be 2020/2021 etc

V9 is 2019, V10 is 2019-20. Not sure on the exact differences but you can get the V10 SD cards for like £18 on eBay so might as well just get the most recent!

what is the current card you have in your connect at the mo, if it`s years out of date then i`d say it`s worth updateing it

It was a V9.
I bought a V10 and sold the V9 for what I paid for the V10. Got the speed cameras updated too.
