Any advice on managing a car alarm that repeatedly goes off due to wind gusts? I live by the coast and there can be fairly strong gusts of wind and the car alarm keeps triggering. Being a car novice I am not sure what the best thing to do is, and I am needing to keep on good terms with the neighbours.

One thing you can do to help is to ensure every vent in the car is CLOSED for the duration 8-) and windows fully shut of course.
If very strong gusts may well set off motion sensor part of alarm that you can't deactivate.

Am sure there is no vibration detection specifically on the QQ vehicle...as was in earlier car days. However, I did experience a very heavy lorry noisily/slowly passing my car when locked and parked. The vibration was considerable and kicked off the alarm.

I suspect its the internal ultrasonic detectors responding to air pressure waves. Switch them off and see.

Thank you both for getting back - I will try switching off the interior ultrasonic detectors.
