Good Morning all
This is my first time on the forum so please be gentle with me! Had my Qashqai for a few years now, and generally love it. I took it to a local dealership yesterday, for a recall on a childlock. During the repair a 'health check' was carried out. It flagged up Hot side boost pipe that runs from the turbo to the intercooler excessively leaking oil - requires new pipe. I was quoted £320 for the work. I am not techincally minded so I know very little about cars. Has anyone else experienced this?

Can you physically detect/see the leak?
£300+ might be right if they have to rip out a number of engine related parts to get at it.

I can't see the leak, but I have seen some leakage on the drive where the car is parked.

I don’t know your engine, but on my 1.6 petrol J11 all pipes coming in and out of the intercooler are easy to access.
If you have quote for new pipe, the item number stated on the quote may help us to locate the part.
