A friend of my sons had their QQ 70 plate stolen of their driveway a few days ago - by keyless remote entry theft.

Can this feature be turned off ? If yes then how?

Flex247, there are a couple of posts (in Search Area) on the subject of intelligent keys on the Forum. I have been using for around 5 years on our QQ’s a Pouch & now also a Steering Wheel Lock. There is a post attached that does say it can be turned off but it is a US comment and most are pretty old, but you could give it a try or better still ask your Dealer to be sure that things do not get screwed up - Good Luck Dave 😉

Doesn't that just enable or disable the noise though?

Keyless entry can't be turned off as its integral to the NATS (security) system. Lock Chirping/Beeping is in the Settings menu somewhere...I think? I seem to remember knocking it to OFF on my 2017 N Connecta (J11b)

I believe you can turn keyless entry off such that you have to press the button on the key to open the vehicle rather than leave the key in proximity of the vehicle and press the door button. This is achieved by entering settings -> vehicle -> locking and setting the i-key setting to off.

Thanks for the reply’s,

I’ve turned the i-Key setting to off and now only using the remote fob to open and unlock the door.
Can these car thieves still use their gadget to grab my remote fob frequency and still open the car doors - even though the
I-Key setting is switched off ?
