Hi not had J11 QQ 2016 Tekna for to long , checked oil about 1month ago dipstick came out fine , then I replaced and secured.
Today tried to check oil level again, however dipstick unscrews anti-clockwise and loosens , but does not pull upwards and out.

I don’t want to get heavy handed and force / break anything .

Has anyone else had a similar situation - any advice appreciated.

Thanks

The dipstick isn't screwed in - so I'm perplexed by "dipstick unscrews anti-clockwise and loosens"

Maybe it's been damaged by rotating it?

Is it 1.5 dci? If so just turn it anti clockwise so the cap comes loose from the neck just pull it off and you'll be left with the dipstick get some pliers and grip on to the ball and pull upwards then remove dipstick then clip it back on to the cap. Happens quite alot on the euro 6 k9k

Just done the weekly “Open Bonnet” check. On our 2019 QQ J11B Tekna + the Flat Steel Section of the Dipstick is “Molded” into Dipstick Handle - see attached - Dave 😉

I am sure Lewis is on the Ball 👍 as there are a few different types on the web !

Yeah if its a petrol ignore my comment haha if its a 1.5 diesel k9k and it doesnt have adblue ( which it won't being 2016 as adblue came in to play in 2018 on k9k) then my comment is relevant haha dont go yanking it off if its a petrol with a ring pull like the one daves just posted

If its got a cap with the dipstick connected to it then do what I said, if you don't want to do it just take it to a dealer and they will know exactly what to do as we see it all the time on servicing with the k9k
