hi ALL,I have heard 1.6 DiG-T is start from september ... ???!!!is anyone from Sunderland and can confirm this news please or maybe someone else heard the same news ?

Where did you hear this from? Any news on the engine code for it and if its the same engine as being used in the 1.6DIG-T Juke?

Apparently engine will be the same size but different power - 160 or something around that
I heard the news from other QQ forum but as far as I know there is no any confirm news from Sunderland ...

hhm, the only thing I can see on there is a historical post that just says Summer. No other info on google about it which suggests Nissan are still keeping info regarding the engine close to their chests?!

Nissan Sweden went out on Twitter and Facebook that 1.6 dig-t engine at 163hp is available now in Qashqai but removed the post after a few hours.

Only the 1.2 DIG-T is still the only petrol engine for the QQ at the moment on Nissan.co.uk I am guessing if there was a post that's been removed then it may only be around the corner and it was mostly hinted that it was late Sumer/start of Autumn so a Sept launch would fit.

Speaking with sales person from local branch of dealers Westway today he says that there'll be no 1.6 DIG-T!Bugger, been waiting since Feb for the 1.6 option after experiencing the 1.2's lag when accelerating before the turbo kicks in.Then, what do salesmen know?

Salesmen know that if they tell you there is a 1.6 coming soon you won't order a 1.2 now.
