The YouTube video is quite interesting using a pressure washer, obviously this involves removing the DPF.

The fault codes on diagnostics then suggest that the cause is that a software update the ECU is needed. On checking further, none is available. The case has all the latest software.
No choice but to go back to Nissan, pay for more diagnostics, and they conculde that the DPF is blocked (thanks for charging for what I already knew) - and that there is only one solution: £2600 for a new DPF filter/unit, including sensors, gaskets, etc and plus yet another oil change!!!!
I escalated the case to Nissan "customer care" (ha!) and all I have is 6+ emails over a week plus saying that someone will get back to me (no timescale & no real insights despite me giving detailed information on the issues). Needless to say, the lack of problem ownership and support in resolving this case means that this Nissan will be the last one I'm ever likely to own.
Does anyone know any way to clean the DPF - which they have personal experience of success in doing so?
