Hello Again!!!Can someone clarify for me use of iPhone
data in conjunction with NissanConnect. I know you can stream audio and make
calls via Bluetooth. How is that work (or do not work) when comes to data tethering?
Is it done through Bluetooth or got to be USB lead?

Thanks for any input

Hi ippop, i have the samsung S4 and when i was out on the test drive i checked to see if it would pear with the connect system, i stopped it when it was asking to transfer my phone list, i am kicking myself that i didn't check the data side of it. i am sure some knowledgeable person will find a link or ask someone in Nissan, it gives us all something to do and think about as every day seems to be getting longer waiting for our cars to arrive

Thanks guys. I have sent email with that question to Nissan UK. I must say they are good in response and value of info. Can't say that about dealers tho Anyway response was:Please
be advised that the listed applications will use the data allowance on
your phone contract, so it would not be recommended to use them on a pay
as you go phone. In relation to your question about the iPhone, I can
confirm that this will need a USB cable to be used, if you were to
obtain an Android phone in the future then this will run through
Bluetooth only.
So basically is the same like in US. However I will be appreciated for any quick review from kramrolyat70 of how easy it is to establish connection etc. I don't think I will swap my iPhone for android phone because of this.
