One question though. I assume when towing a trailer or caravan the mod will have no adverse side effects?

No side effects, the functionality is always the same as other car manufacturers already implemented on their cars, to dim DRL when indicating in order to achieve better visibility of indicators. No more, no less.

Didn't think this was much of a problem until a neighbour who also has a Qashqai was pulling across in front of me this morning. The indicators were certainly not apparent with the bright light of the DRL.

Have put my name down for a pair and going to suggest my neighbour does too.

Yes, PayPal is the easiest and the safest payment method, however, who has no PayPal and prefers bank transfer that is fine for me too.

Duncho, does the mod work when the lights are on dipped/full beam/ auto full beam?

I guess they do but thought I'd check.

Looks great to me. Being a bit picky now but could the DRL gradually light back up?

Rob,
when headlights are ON, DRL is running in dipped mode (so called parking light mode) and that mode is not dimmed by the module as it brings no effect to better visibility at all as the headlights are used mainly in dark (no direct sunlight) and then parking lights are not affecting indicator's visibility.

Unfortunatelly not possible without modifying electronics inside the headlight. DRL driver would need to be redesigned to accept PWM modulated power supply.

DEAR ALL, IMPORTANT NOTE!

As my car was crashed into over night, I should have more time to build the modules. I will send an email with details and gathering the shipping address to each member on the list.

UPDATE IN REGARDS TO DRL MODULE PRICE. It is extensively time demanding to build one pair so I need to rise the price for a pair (2pcs in the kit) which final price is £60. I understand that for some members this will be no go as it is £20 more expensive. I apologise, but I cannot supply such quantity in reasonable time as I would need to be fully occupied just with modules manufacturing. Thank you all for your understanding.
