Dafman, so you bought the J11B with the Older 1,2L Engine then best of Luck. Ours is still running fine so just think positive not everything goes bad - Dave πŸ€ͺ

Is the facelifted model 2018 onwards a J12 or is it a J11 still ,suffixed with a letter ?

On here we call it J11b
However, the original was J11 so maybe it should be J11a ;)
It definitely isn’t J12

The first new model QQ after the J10 was known as the J11 and is now normally known as the J11A and the newer version the J11B - Dave 😊

The latest models now have a round nissan front badge (mines a 68 plate and has latest badge) is that still classed as the J11B.
Also what other changes are the besides the front badge.

Nissan badges seem to vary - the latest brochure I have show some with the trapezoidal one (Tekna) and some with the round one (Acenta Premium and Tekna+)

Gloucester, agreed ! Our New Tekna + is Round as well as the new N-Tech Model just launched but the Trapezoidal ones are still shown on the Nissan UK & German Websites - Dave 🀨
The models are still classed as J11B, but regarding the differences that is really a sit down and read job of the Catologue as it is just to complex to mention .

Am I right in thinking that the Type, Variant and Version entries in the V5C (mine are J11, A, and A74) do not relate to the A or B definitions referred to in this thread?
My QQ fits the J11B photo but has the above entries in the V5C
