Does anyone know which type of bulbs are used in the fog lights? My dealer said they are unique to Nissan but this seems strange to me.

Someone may chip in, am sure others have done this; attachment may assist in getting at.
Then a matter of taking out & seeing what code is printed on lamp casing/ popping round to motor factors. :P

You could then post what lamp type it is.

F1Bob, guess what I would suggest that you go into "Search" and enter "Front Fog Lights" or similiar and you will find some facts there.
It does state there that the Type H8 35w is used exactly as stated in our QQ Handbook (well the German one anyway), there are a wide range of bulbs available on the web - Hope this helps Dave ;)

As Dave (and the service manual said) they're 35W H8 bulbs. Certainly not unique to Nissan!

If you're trying to get less yellow halogen types, these are cheap enough to try out; http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/H8-35w-Super- ... 1880738523

Or there's a whole bunch of LED replacements on eBay. If that's what you had in mind, I suggest these 80w Crees - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/80W-H11-H8-CR ... 1133148546
