Send to car

How do I remove addresses from the Send to car collection? It just keeps getting bigger and bigger!!

[ If you select an address, doesn't a "Delete" button appear? I was clearing mine out yesterday when I found all the destinations from the previous owner in there! You have to do them one by one. ]

Ignore that - seems I'm talking about the wrong thing - see below.

I looked into this one a while back. I was told that you can't delete the addresses - the list grows to 50 entries and then starts knocking off the eldest ones. At the time I thought this might be a problem but as I only use the list once (and keep as a favourite if I think I'll be using the location again), I only look at the top of the list anyway.

gloucester, obviously you can delete favourites one at a time like you did but I think dyawlak is asking about the "send to car" facility.

Sorry - I didn't think "Send to Car" was working any more. I've not been able to get it. I'll have another go.

EDIT - this might be the reason: Note: If you're using Maps in Lite mode, you won't be able to send a place to your car.. I'll try with my laptop.

Google seem to keep changing the way it works. Coincidentally, we tried it this afternoon just to make sure it still worked. For me it seems to have reverted back to the functionality it had a year ago.

I used to be able to click on any part of a road and get a location that I could send to my car, then it seemed to be only named places (easiest to do a search) but today I was able to drop a pin and under "What's Here?" select the Lat/Long coordinates and send them to the car. Wether that will still work tomorrow, who knows!

I've eventually got it to work. And can confirm that I can't find a way to delete an entry.

By the way on another topic it's suggested you have to use a Gmail email address - I'm using my usual bespoke domain name one.

can someone offer some instruction on this?

I haven't been able to get this to work. I have added my car in google maps (user ID / email) I have nissan connect apps working. but everytime i try to send to car, google maps says it can't do it. I'm not using lite mode (whatever that is)

I have to use a computer (my iPad doesn't display send to car) and named places only as attempting to send post code the following message is displayed "We were unable to send this destination. Please try again."
