Hi guys, I just fitted the Nissan OEM kit at lunch time and it doesn't seem to work as advertised right now. The instructions call for a grey wire to be spliced into but there are 2 grey wires in that particular loom. The thinner wire causes the mirrors to fold/unfold when the ignition is switched on/off but the locking of the doors has no affect. The switch operates the mirror normally when pressed. The thicker of the 2 grey wires when spliced into has no affect at all. Anybody have any ideas at all?
Hi RobDani tested these kits when they came out over 3 mths ago and found them to be a night mare,Grey wire trigger feed, yeah right where is that,i could not find No live trigger feed on a Grey wire. Then they bought out another Model same as yours but one had a 1 last digit and the newer one had a 2 last digit, found these to not work either.i got no further with it............So stopped testing as my kits where here and up and running.Kind Regards dave
Thanks for the info Dave, it looks like I may be purchasing one of your kits soon then!
Dan have you fitted the Relay as the newer model the relay may make the Grey wire a lock trigger feed, For the life of me could not get a Grey to change to a lock pulse.
Auto folding mirrors kit

I actually like controlling the folding manually as there are times I want to open and close if I put car in garage. Good luck if you order it
Had a similar kit on my 2010 n-tec & 2013 360. Just leave the standard button in the middle position & the mirrors open/close when you lock/unlock, a handy visual sign that the car is definitely locked, BUT the button still works the same way so you can manually open/close if needed.
Which ours will allow you to do http://www.acesdvds.co.uk/index.php?mai ... e7b102f2ea
I asked our Dealer today to confirm the Auto Mirror situation (we have no QQ as yet) and as already stated the mirrors do not close automatically when you close the car with the I-Key, it has to be done manually.
I believe the button is the Top Left Side one. We have at present a Juke Tekna which has the Auto Folding System which is great in the summer on Auto as you know the car is locked. But there is one problem that does arise and that is in the winter with frost and snow as you tend to hear loud "Crunching" sounds from the plastic parts as the Mirror tries to Open or stops, therefore we always turn back to Manual for the winter periods for safety - Dave
hi they will using these kits which are now released on sale, and the button still works in the car as normalhttp://www.acesdvds.co.uk/index.php?main_page= ... e7b102f2ea

Be careful. I garage my car and if the Auto Folding Mirrors operated before I reversed out of the garage I would have no Mirrors.
[TUBE"]http://youtu.be/kSFmZvjiOck[/TUBE"]

I have the genuine Nissan £55 kit fitted and it works as expected. The mirrors shut automatically when the door is locked but perhaps more importantly they accept the switch (on the door handle) as being the master. This means that when I close the mirrors to go into the garage they will not automatically open in the morning until I reverse out of the garage and operate the door switch.
That's the good news but actually doing the job is another thing altogether the instructions are little better than useless and must assume the user to have magical powers. No circuit diagram and I suspect those of us that were properly trained all those years ago (DaveB) would be horrified to be expected to follow thing blindly.

Tekna CVT 1.6 Magnetic Red - born 4/4/14 P/X 25/10/2015 for £19k with 12,000 on the clock - great car but time to change. No problems whatsoever in those 18 month's.

That was the bad news, I gave up and took it to the dealer who completely took advantage and charged me the best part of £200 to finish the job!
