I wonder if these 2 gripes have been addressed?

• Dimming of DRL on side that indicator is flashing without need for Duncho module

• Ability to scroll through radio presets on steering wheel, without need to take eyes off road

Both are safety issues IMO.

On the new one, the DRL strip is also the indicator, and the DRL turns off on the required side when the indicator is used.

Don't know about the radio presets - I bet they're the same!

Just found and read this which might be of interest to all it is a Nissan Newsroom Europe Write Up. There is no mention here of an Auto Tail Gate but the list of the other options seems pretty comprehensive - Dave

Be interesting to see these DaveBerlin. Could something similar be retro fitted to older models I wonder? Nothing fancy, just held on with 3M tape?

gvmdaddy, I am sure that a Handy Man could knock up a plate with these "Vortex Generators" on and Position it under the QQ, they look like a load of "Shark Fin Antenna's". But would you really want this and would or could it affect the Handling, I think I will give it a miss and wait for the J11B - Dave

Nissan have now updated their online brochure (42 pages) for the Qashqai to include prices, full specifications and VED rates. Interestingly, the Tekna has less boot space than the other grades (some 30 litres). Maybe that's the case with the current Qashqai?

Been looking at the 3008 myself, but unless you get the top trim level you don't get half the toys on my N-TEC +. The problem with leasing is they add the cost of the extra's over the length of the deal, not the expected life of the car, so it adds a lot to the monthly's

Probably going to go Sportage in September - 1.7 auto to try and get decent motorway mpg

My 1.5 DC NTEC+ will be going back in September after 2 years and around 50k miles. Too under-powered and built to a budget for me to get another one, along with poor MPG at motorway + speeds (yes, I know you can get 60+ if you drive at 60 but some of us have work to do)

Sportage didn't feel as well built or toyed up as the QQ, so gone for a Optima SW GT Line with 1.7 diesel and 7 speed auto (I took the sportage with same engine and box and optima on a test drive up the M4 for about 15 miles of my typical motorway and A road driving - qq got 47MPG, sportage 44, Optima 51 - I think the brick-like aerodynamics at a higher speed comes into effect)

Picking it up 2nd September - can't wait as it has even more toys than the QQ - including, most importantly, Android Auto

Sandgrounder, I have just checked an old German Brochure I have & the German Nissan Website for the "Old" J11A QQ and the capacity is stated as : 430L > 1585L, so it appears the new J11B has in fact more total capacity 430L > 1598L.
But there is a * on the Dimension which states : "*Luggage capacity with Seats folded changes to 1569L Bose Audio System", perhaps there is some restriction due to the Speakers - Dave

Does the Bose system gain a subwoofer that lessens the available space?
