Hello everybody,
I just wanted to ask, why various versions of navigation have such complicated designation - labelling. Today I have received the SD card with maps from Nissan and I am not sure, whether it is really the latest. Could someone tell me? Thank you

Doesn't seem to appear on link below; scroll to bottom.
Note that those fitted at factory seem to use differing product numbers.
http://www.fpro.aaanet.ru/connect/map-vers.htm

Accessing the Connect hidden menu, you'll get more detail when sd card installed;

Check the software version by following the steps:
1. press and hold SETUP button
2. simultaneously turn ZOOM knob counter clockwise to 9 o'clock; press ENTER
3. now turn the knob clockwise to 3 o'clock
4. and again turn it back (counter clockwise) to 9 o'clock
...follow the screen to check the software version and post it in your thread

No need to press the enter button.

If you look at the online store...

http://nissan.navigation.com/product/Ca ... anEMEA/GBP

They are now selling Nissan Connect 3 V2, which is later than V1.1

And of course forum member black_rojer sells these for less than half the price of the official store.

LCN2K-EV1GW was the version number people were buying this time this last year looking through some old posts. There has been a new one which came out a few weeks ago.

Why oh why don't they publish date of issue on these SD cards; make things much clearer for owners!!

I have just learnt from the Nissan HQ in Slovakia, that when they sold me the car in March 2016, it was with the maps from 2013 and now they sent me the maps from 2014 "free of charge". If I want later versions I could buy it, but I am not sure they sell it in Slovakia. This policy is rather strange, because I am quite satisfied with my QQ in all other aspects.
