Well, having had mine for almost 3 weeks and doing a whole 270 miles time for an update.Dislikes,Audio System - Well known problem, see many other posts.Connect system - dropping bluetooth audio (another well known problem),Nav system - doesn't zoom in far enough, 50yds is not enough.Suspension, did a 50mile trip on pretty bendy and hilly B roads today that used to be a pleasure in the CRV, QQ was a very bumpy ride, ended up with my daughter being car sick.Engine - Flat unless you give it some serious poke, 30mph in 4th it's struggling to manage, completely flat and accelerates like a slug towing a brick, keeps telling me to shift to 3rd!, CRV would happily cruise along at 30mph in 5th.Seats, too narrow on the base and the stitching digs in the bum on the right side.Likes,My daughter likes the sun roof - personally I'll never use it as it doesn't open to let air in so don't see the point of it.
Goodbye Qashqai, Hello Ford Kuga, much quieter ride and a decent sound system :)

It is such a shame Phaedra that you couldn't have stayed with the CRVs as you obviously prefer them. Personally I am not keen on them so Im more than happy with my 1.6 CVT even though its only a Acenta Premium.

The world would be a boring place if we all liked the same.

Indeed, had I had the chance for an extended test drive over a few days (not offered) I may not have picked the QQ as our first choice. However, given the limited choice of what was available to fit our physical needs and the limit of the AP cost I'm really not sure what else I would have chosen, only the Skoda Yeti came close but the dealer was useless and completely not interested in the sale and the lack of rear sensors and camera would have made it a worse choice. It's not a bad car by any means and I'm grateful to have something I can fit into and drive it's just a few niggling little things that could (as others have said) have made it a great car instead of a good one.

Wow Pheadra your not having a good time ehIve only had my car 6 days and already bashed out 500 miles and 300 of them was in one dayWe must have diffrent cars although both AccentasAudio systemNot had any problems with it although i just listen to radio and a USB stick, not the best audio system but id say to class it as budget is harsh id say mid rangeIm a big guy around 18 stone and found I love the seats to be fair and just sold a jaguar XJ350 the suspension i know approve of after a day in one with 19" wheels, that made all the diffrenceThe engine is great I think the only problem is the gearbox having 6 gears your forever in the wrong one lol if this car had the traditional 5 speed it would be more at homeI looked at the Yeti it was second in line after the QQ on my list but the spec was realy poor compared to the QQThe higher seating end entry for me sealed the deal, the cars a mini boat if you think but for me was greatWhen you was on your bendy and hilly run did you upset the sat nav lady as well lol, it give a triple bleep and alerts you to tight bends if your going too fast, I liked that feature as I was on my own and i didnt feel so lonely it was like wife was there nagging meYou missed out your fuel economy, mine overall is showing 54.8mpg now and the best was 70mpg showingProblem is with Q2 prices theres no choice but to live with it mate as theres no point backing it as nothing out there

Didn't use the Sat Nav as it's a trip I've done many times. Fuel economy, FE1 screen is still reading around 37-38mpg but FE2 screen says 42, my overall high score went up to 58 so in reality I have no idea what it's doing!. I dug deep and filled it up when we got home, £67! so will give it a couple of weeks and see what it's used after another 200 miles or so.The audio system dropped my daughters phone again each time the car was stopped/started, and again a complete shut down and re-pairing restored it until the next power off of the cars system. It paired with my sons Nokia phone but refused to play anything which is odd as he has the same phone as me and mine works OK. As for sound quality, I realise it's subjective but in all honesty my 06 C-Max Zetec at just over £10,000 sounded a lot better!.As to the engine, hopefully it will get better, there's a long sloping bank with dual carriageway on the road up to Consett, in the CRV I could drop to 5th and easily hit 90 by the time we reached the top (not that I ever would of course!), today I almost had to drop to 4th to get any acceleration out of the QQ. Running on fairly flat roads in 4th gear the engine feels over-geared and is struggling doing 30 and is constantly telling me to drop to 3rd.Other than that, as you say at the original price point (£700 AP) there wasn't a lot of choice, I also looked at the Renault Captur, same engine but very little room and the Citroen C4 Picasso, nice car but with the huge headrests the rearwards/sideways visibility was terrible.

yer I was similar with mine the gearing in the car all wrong but im used to it nowWhere they use 6 gears you have no mid range lots of bottom end and suprisingly a good top end but you cant get away with 5th gear and flooring it lolI think the whole Nissan connect thing is just hassle i just use mine as a radio and any music bang in a usb slot, the cars trying to be too clever with having multi phones loggin in same time etc the system clearly isnt working I wonder if they will sort an update outIf your buying on Q2 the Audi Q3 is same price as the Tekna I reckon def a quarter not to be ordering a car lolI have actualy started driving way car wants, change gears as it asked even indicate now to change lanes to avoid the bleep ive no doubt your MPG will creep up but ive noticed until the engines warm its not economical (hence why so many going for the 1.2 nowadays)

I can't, it's a Motability car so stuck with it for the next 3 years unless my physical needs worsen/change or until the forced changeover from DLA to PIP kicks me off along with the other 60 to 80% who are expected to initially fail the PIP tests and then have to wait months for an appeal to have it overturned.

You can mate although what else do you buy?If the car is not what you ordered or expected the lease can be terminatedDont worry about PiP ts here nothing we can doIve just passed my PIP and although ive read horror stories in my case it went so easy, went to the specialists and he had no papers on me so had to do the medical.Throughout the whole test they say nothing, give no indication on eway or other how things are going even as you leaveNew rules are based on not are you disabled so you get the benefit its how does your benefit affect your daily life thats allOld rules were if you was missing a leg you was disabled new rules based on if your missing a leg and have a prostetic can get around etc then you dontAs you know not every disabled person sits at home watching Jeremy Kyle, most of us work drink and enjoy life, why some of us even have children and hold down a role that helps societyAs for wether new testing is fair / right etc who knows all we do know is the new testing is here and its not going away regardless of what political party is in powerThe tories did expose a lot of people taking the piss, it tars everyone with same brush so they check everyone where before you could self assess (my first benefit medical check has been with PIP to be fair)When they declared that Alchoholics and drug addicts were disabled as they couldnt work as they were unfit done Disabled people no favours, why should a Junky or alcholic get a premium to allow them to lease a cheap carHundreds and thousands of unfair examples of people loosing it I agrea but then anyone who says the system wasnt abused can laughWe all read about people claiming a car for themselfs that has free insurance for a teenager living hundreds of miles away and were all familiar with negative moany arses that are on other forums that moan cry never gratefull always wanting more world owes me a living forums lolThankfully this is for QQ owners, the able bodied and those with difficulties all united for one reason regardless of class or politcs To me a little paradise
