Not sure if this has been posted on here previously, but I found this interesting (I thought so anyway) article on the BBC web site. Would love to know other’s thoughts on the subject.

It was posted on here last week.
Interesting yes, conclusive no.
Real world testing needs to become a reality and engine manufacturers need to keep up.
Its not all about dirty polluting diesels, but also dirty polluting petrol cars that seem to be left out of the equation. Domestic heating boilers are even worse according to some reports, but no one seems concerned with this.

I prefer the word "Interesting" when it represents something other than bad. But toxic diesel car and the pollution is not actually interesting for me. Of course it's inconclusive cause we can't just banned all these diesel cars over night. But I think we should try to save us, we should try at the very least.

Here are a couple of more "Interesting" articles from the Beep. On one you can enter your Post Code and see how Clean your Area is - Dave :)

Pollution hotspots revealed: Check your area :
Marylebone Road and Hyde Park Corner both in central London have the most polluted postcodes in Britain, says a new study on air quality. The data comes from a project to map concentrations of nitrogen dioxide (NO2) across the country. However, the results also show that large parts of Britain have relatively clean air. Diesel vehicles are a key source of NO2 gas, which has been linked to respiratory disease.
You can see what air quality is like in your area by entering your postcode in the search area. The data represents an average for 2016 and does not include Northern Ireland.
