My iPhone 7Plus is paired and I can make calls though the Qashqai
However the Nissan Connect app always says it is not connected.
Username and Password are correct and I can select apps etc but the app always shows "not connected"
Any help appreciated

Try firing up the app first on your mobile, then handshake with the car; see if that assists. :?:

I had tried that previously, but un-paired the phone and did the Nissan Connect, then paired the phone
All contacts copy to the Nissan Connect and I can make a call using the touch screen in the car.
However, Nissan Connect still shows as disconnected.
I tried making a call using the button on the steering wheel and it gives a message saying that voice activation is ready.
What am I supposed to say. For instance I say "Call so and so" and nothing happens

I tend to start the app, turn on bluetooth and then start the car. It connects instantly every time. Although I rarely use it unless I wan the Google search or send to car function. Good luck

You have to connect via a cable on iPhones. The bluetooth will work for calls and music, but not for the apps.

You have given me the answer. Thanks for that. I have spent hours on this.
iPhone works when connected through usb cable

Years behind the times Nissan
I bought a Ford Focus 3 years ago and all that was needed was to pair the phone and everything worked

Ah! If I'd have known it was an iPhone...... Android is great via Bluetooth but alas Apple devices require a wired connection. You should be golden now!
