I'm still thinking of buying a 2017 Qashqai, but have just read the What Car? reliability survey. The Qashqai came bottom in its class.
What are forum members' thoughts and real world experience of reliabilty?

Its been said quite a lot in these forums, the 14 plates are bad, the 1.2 engine "WAS" bad, and i'd never buy one of these types because there are a lot of lemons out there. Everything else. 15 - 17 plates are fine still keeping away from the highly underpowered 1.2.
A very good alternative is the Renault Kadjar, has a 4 year warranty. Its almost the same car.
I have the 1.6D Techna AWD, its a great ride. The AWD has multi link suspension on the rear also, to add to the ride quality. Very happy with it.

Daewar, why can’t the manufacturer’s get their acts together and keep a Standard so everybody can get the benefit of these warranties - Dave
