I have the J11A Qashqai and i was wondering when Nissan take the car to service in January the 2nd Will they update Connect to the same one in the J11B Or will it stay the same?

I understand that they only ever update it if you report a fault.

They will update your software, as long as it is compatible with your model, to the latest software avaiable for the qq as long as your service is done by a recognised Nissan dealership. There is no charge for this.

They didn't update mine from D302 to D502 or D554 which are the latest, but they did say the fixes in D5xx were country specific and nothing to do with the UK so D302 is still the official latest UK version.

I was told by the service desk at my loacal Nissan Dealership that they will not update the Connect software on spec. They only update it, if there is a problem reported by the car owner.

Probably because it's a pain in the backside to do, the car has to be left idling for 50 minutes whilst it updates.

Ridiculous/ not environmentally friendly that dealers can't keep Car's system live without needing to waste fuel for these updates.
