Hi Dave, this might be of interest - Dave :)

Ahead of the model’s arrival into UK showrooms in 2018, Nissan is delighted that the all-new Nissan LEAF has been awarded Best Small Family Car in the Next Green Car Awards 2017. The New Nissan LEAF picks up right where the previous model left off. The Nissan LEAF 30kWh, launched in January 2016, received the same accolade at the 2015 awards.

Ray Massey Test. This Leaf is getting a Lot of very Positive comments lately - Dave :)
This is the real deal, designed for the real world at less than £30,000 and a smart car that owes much to a new ‘pedal power’ system. It looks and drives like a proper family car and is built in Sunderland. While the first-generation Leaf which has sold 300,000 worldwide and 21,000 in Britain since its launch in 2011 appealed to geeks, this one’s more conventional hatchback styling works well. It’s nimble in normal drive mode with instant acceleration that’s as quiet as a Rolls-Royce. A little blue button makes the accelerator pedal double as a brake when you lift your foot which means your driving is smoother.
