MPG is still not good...
Covered 40 miles today... brimmed the tank to do a real MPG calculation... 49 litres of fuel.
Miles to empty.. 329 miles (which i understand is based on the last x miles ) - what is X ?
At present - 329 miles for 49 litres of fuel will be 30.52 MPG (plus maybe 5 litres in the tank when filling up - so 27.7mpg ) Overall MPG for the 702 miles via the OBC is now 29mpg.
Trip A & B have been reset so will see how many miles get off this tank until the petrol light comes back on.

Hi all
Well im new first post as i purchased a facelift 1.5 diesel with 1650 miles on it had it 2 weeks and looking at the thread you should not go off your average fuel on your car as this only gives you real time figures with driving style at the time. To get a accurate fill up then run till asked you to fill up then go to hear and put in your figures.
With mine i am very happy with my first full tank and fuel economy and will only get better.
Real-Life Miles Per Gallon
To work out what MPG you are really getting, please provide the cost of the fuel, how much you spent on the fuel, and how far it took you. For example, the cost of the fuel could be 96.9, the amount could be 10 pounds, and the distance covered could be 80 miles.
Fuel Cost pence/Litre 118.7
Total Spend £57.12
Distance 586 miles
Your real-world MPG average is 55.36, covering 586 miles using 10.59 gallons of fuel.

Use the 'Fuelly' app on your mobile. Its easy to use, more concise, accurate and can hold extra info about your vehicle.Mr_FX wrote: ↑Sun Feb 18, 2018 2:29 pm Hi all

ok - time to fill it up again tomorrow to check the "real" mpg from a brim to brim top up.
So far covered 332 miles off the full tank and down to 48 miles to empty so expect the petrol light to come on any time soon.
OBC quoting 32.7 MPG.
All mileage has been local urban driving.

ok - brimed the car again tonight on the same fuel pump in fact all the way to the 4th click on the pump like on the fill up.
The Figures.
352 miles covered - 52 litres of Unleaded required to brim tank
Real MPG - 30.86 MPG -
OBC display for Trip 1 was 32.5 mpg over the 352 miles.
Avg speed - 20 mph (all town driving)
372 miles to empty (which does not mean much)
Reset the trip again and will record the next tank.

By force....20mph average - due to it all just been local B roads, A roads, peak time traffic etc..
30mph... car will pull in 3rd / 4th before its starts to struggle, but it all depends on the road, don't live in a all flat area, all hills here... will always use the gearbox to get up the gears to lower the revs where required.
The QQ is the wife's daily driver.

I've just filled my 1.2 QQ with petrol this afternoon. The potential range on a full tank of fuel was shown as 468 miles when I left the petrol station. After I arrived home, the range had increased to 472.
The average fuel economy since I bought my QQ in September 2017, according to the on-board computer, is currently 39.5 mpg. I also use the Fuelly app which confirms my QQ is averaging 37.3 mpg.
Also below is my current Eco score.
