making phone calls

Hi all probably doing this in the wrong area so sorry will have a good look at the forum soon was wondering if anyone is having issues with Nissan connect app and is there a way to make voice calls from phone rather than using satnav all the time to input numbers and stuff many thanks Aidy

Once you're connected by Bluetooth to Connect, you can just use your phone as the input device and parked up.

You can answer the phone if you're mobile & so inclined, by pressing the vertical phone icon on right of steering wheel.
I don't bother with app; what's offered by Nissan has never been updated since they launched J11 Qashqai in early 2014.
Just read up the supplied Connect Manual.
